this is like 90% joke but also there are people in every category whomst i have disliked for falling under that category (among other things usually) so it's not like totally untrue. i judge people on a case by case basis though so falling into any of these categories doesn't necessarily mean anything....these are just things that may indicate deeper differences between us ykyk and if it does then that may be the real problem....on the surface this means nothing it's the potential implications etc etc

a) people who dislike bts jimin

okay actually more specifically people who dislike him for the wrong reasons. if ur going to dislike him do it right. i can name a few good objective reasons off the top of my head and i'm basically a jimin akgae so i'm sure u can too

b) liking hendery andor yuta

i don't think i have to explain myself like. unforgivable acts indisputably racist and misogynistic behaviors respectively

c) being a kuanggong

no bc u can like xiaojun in a fucked up kind of way but if u ACTUALLY like him like in the STAN way....the xiaojun defenders n shooterz way....if u wouldve defended him in february over the misogyny allegations....hell even in october over the staff allegations....there are irreconcilable differences between us

d) thinking johnny is attractive

he looks like the onceler. are you into tumblr sexymen. we are not the same

e) u refuse to tag the (potentially triggering, morally questionable) things that are clearly in ur fic

u are either rageprufrock aka the most pretentious fic author of all time or u are [redacted] and refuse to acknowledge something that is plainly in ur fic and i sincerely question ur irl morals. it's actually not about the tags because actually i think it's okay to tag or not tag it's ur fic but i just question u as a person it just makes me incredibly wary and often demonstrates a disregard for others andor placing u/ur fic/ur intent above all else. like u can have the stuff in the fic but tags are there for a reason u are not spoiling ur "art" okay i promise

f) clapped ao3 usernames

this is literally so petty i just get wary when ur username is capitalized and got numbers and all that idk it depends though Rose_gold715 is a god for example whereas virtual1979 is satan's grandchild

i can't think of anymore i actually can't even hate people properly for these things my problem is forgiving red flags too much in reality....but i am trying to free myself of feeling like things have to be complete or coherent so i will just post this now. then of course i will probably come up with more immediately after i post this and then of course my views continue to not reflect my views meaning none of this means anything. claps halfheartedly

RT ON THE AO3 USERNAMES ONE as guy who spends a lot of time coming up with pretentious nice sounding (TO ME) usernames i cant help judging people by their choice of ao3 user. the presumption is rebuttable tho i wont not read a fic bc of the authors u/n but i will silently raise my eyebrows. re: fic tags i do generally agree that i think things should be tagged as a courtesy but i also think cntw does cover the field as a kind of catch-all caveat emptor, tho it really isnt HELPFUL since like there is such a wide range of potentially triggering content that exists. and also tagging can positively help people who are looking for a specific kind of content to find it so its a win win situation in my eyes... its funny you should bring up rageprufrock specifically because i distinctly remember getting jumpscared by a/b/o in one of their fics many years ago LOL i do enjoy their work tho

EDIT lol realised it isnt that clear but im agreeing with u on e) in that i think its ok re: tags but kinda doesnt reflect well on the author
